Having experienced both of them live - Joan As Policewoman in Copenhagen about seven years ago when she opened for Rufus Wainwright and played in his band - and Alison Krauss (and her band Union Station) when they played at the Roskilde Festival in 2012 - I can testify to their great abilities to play convincingly live.
